SMALL RULES. LOVELY POSSIBILITIES.

A home for every cat.

Put one cat in every colored territory. Give each cat its own row and column. Keep neighboring squares empty — even the corners.

One per color

Every colored region needs exactly one cat, regardless of its shape or size. Look for tiny regions first.

×××

One per row & column

A cat claims its entire row and column. Any other square on either line is ruled out.

××××××××

No touching

No two cats may share an edge or a corner. Long-distance diagonal alignment is allowed.

Make your next move

Tap a square to add an X. Double-tap to place a cat. Tap a cat to remove it. The starting cat stays fixed, including after Undo or Reset.

With a keyboard, use arrow keys to move, Enter or Space once to mark and twice quickly to place a cat. Use the Undo button to reverse the last action. The fixed starting cat has a small diamond and cannot be moved.

Take all the time you need

There are no lives or time limits. The clock is just a personal record, and you can hide it in Game settings. Auto-cross marks squares blocked by your cats; your own X notes stay separate. A hint points you toward a deduction and explains it when you ask.

Every puzzle starts with one fixed cat and has at least one valid completion. Any complete arrangement that follows all three rules wins. There may be several solutions. An apparently legal move may still block the eventual solution. If a board feels tangled, check your notes or undo a move.
